Czechs are Western Slavs, as are Poles and Slovaks. There are about 10 million people in the Czech Republic (1.3 million in Prague). Most of them are Czechs and they speak Czech language. In adition to Slovak and Romany minorities, there are significant numbers of expatriates - especially Ukrainians, Americans and Germans.
